COUCH POTATO

Taking a snooze, watching the tube or reading invariably one finds oneself on the sofa. Typically it is also the largest furnishing in the living room, family room, media room or study. Sectional, chaise, sleeper or conventional two or three seater the selected forms are infinite. In many cases however you will find the same designers designing for multiple companies. For example Antonio Citterio is a prime designer for B&B Italia/Maxalto www.bebitalia.it also designs for Flexform www.flexform.it as well. Piero Lissoni designs for Fritz Hansen www.fritzhansen.com , Living Divani www.livingdivani.it , Cappellini www.cappellini.it , and Cassina www.cassinausa.com ; Jasper Morrison designs for both Cappellini and for Vitra www.vitra.com . Other wonderful companies include Christian Liaigre through Holly Hunt www.hollyhunt.com , Poltrona Frau www.frauusa.com if you prefer leather goods, Zanotta www.zanotta.it , Moroso www.morosousa.com , edra www.edra.com , Knoll www.knoll.com (also great vintage selections on www.1stdibs.com btw) , ClassiCon www.classicon.com (reference “A Name You Should Know” in archive), and Lange Production www.langeproduction.com . There are obviously other companies; once again Bonluxat or other database sources can provide further selections.
