SOLO LOUNGE CHAIRS

I am forever fascinated at the range of lounge chairs having a desired modern aesthetic. Vintage, reissue or current / metal, wood, or composite frames / leather, fabric or wicker … their versatility provides endless possibilities to the balance of the architecture of a given space. As a continuing sequel to previous posts entitled “solitary seating” today's featured seating forms the majority of which are vintage are worthy additions. Other classic lounge chairs by Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen, Poul Kjaerholm, Charles & Ray Eames, Gerit Reitveld, Jens Risom, George Nakashima, Vladimir Kagan or Alvar Aalto just to name a few are always worth browsing for as well on 1stdibs.com or at fine auctions houses.
