As in the case of ClassiCon (the subject of my previous post), today’s blog features an American designer perhaps not so widely well known but certainly of worthy note.
Todd Bracher, a native New Yorker worked in Milan, Paris, London and Copenhagen for nearly a decade is the founder of Todd Bracher Studio currently based in the Big Apple. “His work has been included in major exhibitions around the world and has been pinned as “America’s next Great Designer’ by the NY Daily news among several nominations for Designer of the year in 2008 and 2009.” *
His client roster boasts 25+ in number with such recognized names as Zanotta, Serralunga, Habitat, Tom Dixon and Urban Outfitters. He has been the recipient of numerous design awards: The 21st Century SOFA Design Award 2003; Wallpaper* Best New Brand of 2007; Best New Designer New York ICFF 2008; Product of the Year 2008 /Interior Design /T-No1; Lamp of the Year 2008 /Wallpaper /Dome lamp.
His designs rival those of past icons and become clearly evident upon examination. With youth on his side, he certainly is a force to be reckoned with in years to come. Bravo TB, look forward to many more years of brainchild designs!
